Could be in a market here! Kop-e-Rite Krytox....

Mate look at my sig. Look at the gear i have and rethink what you just said. You will also read that i said there was a harley infront of me and i could clearly hear its exhast. Maybe this will put it in perspective for you. And i dont know too many systems that will put out 130dB at 1/4 volume :)

up here in QLD they are a little more sensable... our rules state if you can hear the words to the music outside the car with the windows UP then its too loud.

i think some people have stupid levels of music, but some nice level but still loud music should be allowed

how many young females go driving down the street with backstreet boys playing at distorting levels and you see cops drive by with not one look at her. yet as soon as there is doof or a nice looking car the blue and reds come on

Ive had friends who have contested speeding fines and won. Also speeding tickets given by police that dont use a radar to clock you, will be overturned in court as they have no proof.

The reason you can contest a speeding fine (or any fine for that matter) is that you are innocent till proven guilty. So therefore if it is their word against yours (therefore they have no hard evidence) you have to win. Generally tho it costs more to contest it than the original fine.

It costs $68 to have it heard in court, and more if u hire a lawyer (Which i wouldnt bother), so its not too bad, especially if i win.

Oh and as second kick in the pants, at the same time he booked me for not carrying my license, an extra 77 bucks and two demerit points, having only 4 demerit points i have effectively lost my license. By the way i didnt have my license on me because i had lost my wallet, which i didnt realise until i was pulled over and he asked to see my lisence :( I tried explaining that to him, and the fact that id lose my license because its a total of 4 demerit points, he said that it was my problem, and THATS when i lost it and started swearing at the C*** lol

Its probably because you were in an excel.
If you were rollin' in the 'stang, it'd probably be another matter.
& besides, at peak hour (8.30) on griffiths road theres always a s**t of cops around.
i got done there just after the bridge over the rail line for my towball covering the - in my number plate. You could still read the letters & numbers but no dot. I'd only had the car a week. Cost me 3 points.
Oh yeah, were you wearing a baseball cap?

thats pretty s**t cos factory stereos these days play loud enough you can hear it outside the car. especially the ones that come with a factory sub.

lol no, i dont wear hats. And yeah ill be lodging a riview and thyen taking it to court if thats not successful. I can basically stretch the whole proceedings to almost 6 months, in which time they cant take the demerit points and i dont have to pay the fine, so.

Ive just been looking at the demerit points scheme - and its completely f**k. For instance, and i didnt realize this till just now, on your P1's and P2's its now illegal to carry more than 1 passenger in the car. and its a $384 fine and SEVEN demerit points if your caught. Thats instant loss of lisence. I mean really wtf. When the hell did they introduce that law, ive never heard of it.

And its wierd, on the RTA site it doesnt list it as a condition Of license, yet it has it as a traffic offence :/

Yes, but if EVERY person with a fine that was BS contested it the, costs would quickly mount in the little persons favour, magistrates would be snowed under with 1000'S of these cases per week (day) eventually they would crack the s**t and find in favour of upholding the fine BUT it would send a nice message to the guv'ment.

TAX's under federal liberal government are low my a***, all these speeding fines and other BS are just an alternative to income tax and GST
