ill admit this now, i know very little about installing...

my car is a ef xr6 ok, today i bought me a new head unit, and a wiring adaptor. ive taken the surround off and now im confused, the wiring adaptor come with two plugs, one plug ive figured is for the rear speakers, the other is for the front speakers, with the 12v etc etc. but there is only one plug attached to the loom.
to make things more confusing for me, the current stereo is connected to loose wires...
i feel like i tool asking this...but what do i plug to where?

ok thanks, i think sumones made a mess of my wires....
ok so i connect the acc and pow from hu to the corresponding wires on adaptor, that leaves me with power antenna (blue) and dimmer (orange)wires unconnected on the adaptor and system remote control and earth unconnected on the hu. which wires do i connect the earth (black) and system remote control (blue/white) too?

man i feel like a tool, sorry for asking such dumbass questions....

nah its ok i was a complete dumbass not long ago when it comes to this stuff..

there should be a single separate black wire in there thats not part of the loom.. its the earth wire, but if its not there then you can just connect the black wire from your head unit to any metal behind ya head unit its all earthed.. and the blue/white wire - system remote - is for connecting to an amplifier (tells the amp to switch on/off) so if you dont have an amp in your car then just tape the end up so it doesnt short out on anything
