Thanks

mate i've got the CDQ-7300 (??) and its been fine until recently. it has a motorised face and when i pushed the right hand side buttons (CD eject, radio channel up/down) the face would blank out and the unit restart. it's a loose connection between the face plate and the HU. it's away under warranty. apart from that its been good. mind you, i've been driving over rough dirt roads thus my car is subjected to some heavy vibrations.

does that one have the day/night function? that is really handy when driving at night coz the display is really bright and this feature allows you to turn the display off.

hope that helps

ive got i think its the CR1300 MP3/WMA head unit. The sound out of it when i had it in the ea with decent speakers was pretty top notch, even in the lancer with standard speakers its okay. Only complaint i have is the display brightness, in both the ea and the laser it was too bright at night, but the angle it sits in the lancer makes it not a problem, which i was cheering about, and since the one u are looking at has a dimmer function, its not a problem at all...

ive got one of them decks, very happy with it, and very easy to use. If your worried about the brightness, yes it is bright, but you can adjust it. its go 3 levels of brightness.
