Hey all,
I have got hold of a pair of pillar tweeters and covers but I don't have the plug for them behind the pillar covers. Can they be spliced straight into the normal speaker wires? Or do they need something to run them? Also is there a good aftermarket tweeter that will fit in there? Cheers

You will need some form of crossover so the tweeters only play the frequencies they are designed for. Otherwise you will blow them up really quickly with the bass. But you can piggyback from door speaker to crossover to tweeter. You can even use the crossover for the door speaker to run it as a midbass woofer only.
