I have just installed my pioneer head unit in to my AU Fairmont but my electric antener doesn't go up. Does someone no what i have done wrong. I didnt cut the wires i just borght an adapter. I have two wires that aren't connected to anything. They are a blue wire (was told its was something for the sub) and an orange one (dont know what this one is for).
Cheers

In most cases the BLUE wire is the Antenna trigger ie: + 12 volts when unit is receiver is ON. (wire this up and you should have an errection!)

the BLUE/WHITE wire is generally the Trigger for an Amplifier.

run the blue wire (remote system) to the antenna power wire, the blue wire gains power when the ignition is switched on and that will solve ur problems.

I believe the orange/white wire is your dimming input.
please check your manual to confirm!

yes its the light dimmer i/p if you want you can connect this to the brown wire in your loom and when you dimm your console lights (ie speedo and gauges) your hu face will dim aswell.
