Trying to find a spot to mount my PS2 in the NC.....tried under the seat but not enough room...tried raising the seat but the floors not flat (obviously) so it wont sit straight. I would like it in relatively easy reach, and it's gotta be removable...any ideas, or pictures? Trying to get the Fairlane ready for Springnats... :x

if you would really wanted to mount the playstation 2 under the seat the new slim one wouldnt be a bad option however apart from that im not to familiar with the interior of NC

pd1 fits in glove box, ps2 doesnt so thats that idea gone, unless your willing to get the new slim line ps2, i proberly will eventually.. knowing me and having the one from my nf at home now.
I had mine in the boot and ran cables up thru the car to the inside of the ceter console, was all perfect unless you have someone who changed games frequently as youd have to pull over, altho i never changed games really that often.
If the boot is out of the Q, maybe the rear center armrest can be modified to hold it somehow, i seen that on CAA once a while back, looked cool and was removable!

Oh another reason i wanted mine in the boot was that they are noisey, a lot of people forget how much noise they do make, even tho its not always a prob it can be with the fan and the dvd drive reading games, i dont like noise like that.

decided to make a drawer with runners that mounts under the seat.....it slides out like a drawer (duh) and has velcro on the bottom to secure the PS2...works like a charm. Fixed the Seat issue, got some 8mm x 50mm high tensile bolts and some washers and raised the seat on its bracket to suit. Works awesome, will post some pics, or maybe a doc if it's wanted

Ideally would be to repace the power supply in the unit itself, a power inverter is only good for a short while if your car is not running. Plus it is quite inefficient. 12v -> 240v -> 12v = muchos power loss.
