Idealy I would want a double din JVC touchscreen head unit, Boston Acoustics all round with Soundstream amps and two of the Solarbaric Kicker Subs... That's just my personal little dream...

I like Pioneer Headunits, and there comp series splits.
Not a big fan of amp or sub choice with them though, sorry cooki_monsta LOL
But +1 for pioneer, simply for sexy and functional headunits.

Pioneer HU
Hertz Splits
Cadence Subs (used to be Soundstream, but they kept dieing - been through 5 of them)
Response Amps

Currently doing rather well in the NSW CAASQ comps.

IMO it's more to do with the install and tuning rather than brand names/expensive equipment.

By popular demand I added Other... as I can sadly only have 10 poll options.

Personally I'm with Nicco and twr7cx... I've got JVC DVD Head, EONON Screen, SONY Monoblock, JVC 4ch, Performance Tekniques 12", and 4 Sountsream 6.5".

But hey! Some people have favourites!

Rockford Fosgate is up now but I didn't put brands like that up (Dynaudio, kicker, Boston Acoustics etc etc) as they tend to only make one type of audio product (speakers, subs) whereas brands like Kenwood, SONY, Clarion and all them make a wide range of audio gear.

Besides Kev... Look at your boot... I thought you'd vote Alpine all the way
