lol these stereo's are so old i dont think they should care about ownership... i have a factory stereo here but cant be stuffed finding out the code

I managed to get the dimming circuit going as well, what a champ you are bradysarlo!

Oh about the code, I *think* a mechanic we know up the road can do it, as we got it done on my father's car with the premium system, the only thing is, I am unsure whether they need a car attached to it or not. :P

Might give Ford a call one day and ask them how they stand on it.l

I just found this program for generating codes... no idea if it works, and if it does... hope it's not against any rules for me to post it here...

Thanks for you help! Unfortunately that seems to only like 6 digit numbers, and not the humble 7 digit number on this stereo. I omitted the first number and used that code but it came up "Err" so one can gather what that means. :P

Yeah, 4243 is the one I tried and it failed, and the numbers can only be 1-6 can't they? (Which rules the second one out)
