Hi all,
Just installed the premo head unit and stacker, pluged it all up the radio and tape work fine but the bottom part wont turn on at all is there somthing im missing or is it rooted? Thanks, Tim.

you need to install and power the amp, this in turn powers the second DIN that is currently unlit. and I think you also need to connect the dimmer as well.. you will find the functions work on the DSP but you cannot see what the hell you are doing.
hope this helps.. BTW you will also notice no rear sound as well I think unless you have the amp hooked up. then I would suggest the dimmer line to power the face.

it sites behind the boot carpet on the drivers side and plugs directly into the fairmont body loom and an extra cable which runs the audio signal.

hmm iv'e found the two plugs but there's no where to plug them into on the amp? sorry if this is a stupid question.

from memory on the amp there are screws not RCA's to wire into.. don't quote me on that..
I have seen some with screws some with RCA's.

The amp cable from the back of the H/U ends in RCA's but the amp has screws to wire into, a pain in the a**.

it is a Ford amp ??
the two amps I have are no screws, just RCA plugs and a plastic loom plug

you need to find the positive and negative in the RCA then and wire em in.. but before you go chopping up your exsisting cable, get a short RCA extension and chop that up instead.
someone like jaycar may even have an adaptor for this application as well.. worth a look
