Hey guys,
In the DF LTD my dad has it has the premo sound. Its missing the sub due to the gas tank. Now since we bought it the rear speakers have no or little sound coming from them. Also when the sound does come through its very very soft (can barely hear it) and is not clear. We looked behind the deck itself and all wires seem to be connected. Also looked at the amp in the boot and the wires are connected except for 2 missing in the plug with around 8 wires going to it.

Anybody know whats not connected for it not to work?
Cheers and Merry Christmas!

I had a similar problem in my EL Fairmont ghia. The sub and 1 rear speaker would only work sometimes. Ended up being dirty RCA plugs on the amp in the boot. Not sure if yours is the same setup but worth a look. I just sprayed the plugs and sockets with CO Contact cleaner. You could use WD40 but wipe off any excess.

or your headunit or amp are stuffed - see if you can borrow either one to test with

Amp not earthed?

i would just say like everyone has said, test out everything, amp, headunit and speakers with other systems/items and check settings on all headunit and amp (if there are any).
