Updated pics of the boot

Door pods needed to be rebuilt. Old ones were used as a template and then cut back quite a bit and remade.

Another sub box pic
The boot will have a wave look to it so there is a wave through the amps and up into the box…

Pyroay, those Dls splits look remarkably like Morel drivers......

The system is looking good, how long till it is finished?

They have some similarities to morel drivers in some respects but are quite different in others. The mid is much deeper than the CD54 morel mid and the midbasses have a smaller but more powerfull magnet. I cant remember Morel tweeters since i only ever owned morel Supremo's but i have a mate with Morels who is chaning to DLS this week so i'll check out the differences then.

Yes.
not that hard to do, all the time is in the final sanding. it is A LOT quicker if your carpeting and not trying to paint the final surface.

As Morel are in the business of making oem drivers for other "maufacturers" I wouldn't be half surprised if these were in fact made by Morel because when you look through the Morel catalogue they even advertise the fact that they will brand their divers with your name for you, plus the grilles, crossovers, basket design and even the magnet design are typical of the Morel style.
Don't get me wrong Morel make excellent quality drivers I even use a set of Morel home speakers and couldn't be happier with the sound quality.
Cheers, Outlawxr6

Trust me they are not made by Morel.

There is a whole story which i dont have time to go into but needeless to say, the very first batch of DLS speakers over 10yrs ago WERE made by Morel and they continued to be made by Morel for about 2yrs.

DLS now manufacture and design all of their own equipment inc speakers and amps. David (yes the D from DLS) designs the equipment himself and it is produced at DLS wharehouse and manufacturing in Asia

Lovely Aaron.
Can I make one suggestion?
Get a new radiator overflow bottle and a windscreen washer bottle from ford, or get them painted up.
Or get some custom ones fabricated in stainless.
I know, I know, I'm a picky bastard :P
But that would make that engine bay even more perfect!
