hey guys i was changing a globe in my mums partners EF Wagon and for that i disconnected the battery and put it back on then had to enter the security code since its a stock radio ! now it is constantly on and to turn it off you have to push the button when you turn off the car !
i was thinking that it could be an issue with the constant 12v wire but it should mess up with just entering a code or disconnecting the battery ! Any input is appreciated thanks !

the ef wagon has still got a standard factory radio yeah?
el futura upwards with factory stereos had a feature that the stereo could work for another hour after the keys were taken out of the ignition before automatically switching it off, was this a feature with the ef's too? |

I think its the ciggy lighter fuse blowing that causes that problem. Might want to check it.
