Hi ive just picked up my AU and it has a Premium 6 Stacker CD player factory fitted by Ford.
The problem is that i have to install my amps etc and im not too sure whether that head unit has RCA inputs, i like the fact that i have a 6 stacker and its cheaper than buying a new head unit. So if this unit doesnt have RCA inputs is there anyway i can still keep it and install my amps, woofers etc? Any help would be great Thanks |

you'd be after rca outputs to be able to use your amps. if theyve got high level input (speaker wire) then you can use that instead.
im pretty certain it doesnt have rca outs, unless the stock system uses it, which i think it doesnt. |

The 6 stacker (in dash) doesn't have RCA outs, BUT if you have the factory subwoofer you can use the loom the comes with the car as the loom breaks into an RCA to plug into the subwoofer amp.
Also note the the loom leaves the head unit as right and left channel, but arrives at the amp as only one channel for the amp. I'm currently rewiring my loom to be stero all the way to the rear then spilt it again so that I have left right and sub RCA's on the end. If you need anymore help just email me.
