A little more info would help. Is it a stock HU? does it have seperate amp? Have you checked speakers themselves?

check the settings on your HU, check the connections, and then if still no joy, try a speaker hooked directly to the rear channel outputs on the HU, if it works, then start hunting for a bigger problem

yeah like interceptor said.........check ur settings on ur HU. My friend had her left side speakers just dissapear and she wanted me to pull the car apart to check it. before i did that i just turned the balance knob and it all worked fine.........give it a shot. if not the HU might have given in.

i have checked the settings on the HU. I faded all to the rear speakers and nothing happened, checked the balance.... all fine.
Its an eclipse HU, not sure of the model, not much of an audio buff. f**k cars!
