i was wondering if anybodys knows somebody in perth that will fit these type of security systems, and has had it done???

The only way to do it on a e-series and up is to either over ride smartlock (extremely dificult) or put in a whole new system, im not sure if it's on this forum or on another someone has done it.

Yes, its possible.
You can try n do it yourself with a 2nd ignition barrel hidden somewhere or goto a propper installer who knows what they are doing and they should be able to get their hands on a box which will do it for you - expensive n hard to get tho..

big job most people find out then don't bother ... any particular reason you want remote start, or just for the wank factor?

kool thanxs guys. na a friend had one and isn't going to put it into he's car. so was going to put it in my car, just wanted to find out if it had been done. but it looks like to much trouble.
