I've just purchased response 6" Splits , response 4x100 amp and response 10" dual coil sub

So far I have installed the mids in the doors and tweeters in the a-pillars, and I think it sounds much better - still running off factory AU II Farimont H/U

Once I have cash to buy a better H/U I will install the amp and sub... and the crossovers for the splits...

G'day

Ive had response stuff for a while now.

First i had 2x12" venom subs in a ported 88litre box, this proved to be quite good, alot of people made the comment that it sounded like a pair of top quality subs but the problem was that you couldn't turn them up as loud.
I also had a 240rms monoblock amp that they put out for a while. It run the 2 12"s with no dramas at all. Never got hot and never blew up. My mate still runs the same amp with his 2x12" in his car and my other mate is running a alpine type s of his.
I had an old blue model response 2x84, i had that running my cerwin vega splits. I never had any trouble with it and i sold in january. As far as i know the guys happy with it.

Now i have their kevlar splits, 4x100 and 800rms monoblock. The 4x100 will be running my 2 sets of splits and the monoblock will be running a kicker solabaric sub.

I'm currently doing the install ( been going since christmas :x ) its all fibreglass. The amps will be in the floor in the back of my wagon. There will be a write up on my whole interior when its done.

In my opinion you cant go past response for there bang for your buck. Dont expect to be winning sq comps with them but you may when spl if its set up right.

Cheers

They will go in sooon.....! It's a work in progress I only installed the speakers last night, I have to inspect the wiring, but suspect I need to run new cable to the tweeters in order to install the crossovers.

I run two Response Amps, both excellent.

- 4x130WRMS
- 1x1000WRMS monoblock

Looking to get a pair of their 10" carbon fibre subs, seen one in action already (installed one in my brothers car) and they go hard.

The new 1500WRMS linkable amps sound good if you're going for a SPL system.

I am running the 800W D-class Response Amp for my JL Audio subs ... the remote sub control dial is handy on the dash as well. Great amp ... no issues with it yet ... I think the subs will die before the amp does
