Hey guys, I'm slowly putting together a new speaker system in my ford bf with supreme sound, could anyone tell me if alpine type r 6.5" would run alright off my stock amp temporarily there 110w rms per speaker ? Thanks.

Also would a type r sub run alright, keeping in mind it will only be temporary while I save for amps

Hey yeah you could put the speakers in ! but im not to sure about the fitting of it ! you may need to add some spacers so you dont get in the way of the window..

putting in the speakers now will work but dont expect it to sound amazing ! it will sound a LOT better than the stock speakers but may distort a little when you turn it up all the way ( dont worry this will go away when you add a proper amp to the system)

as for the sub , i dont think there is any wiring for the sub to be connected ! you may just need to wait till you get an amp to do that

Thanks !:) Yeah I've looked into that & ill need spacers, my car has a stock sub wich I'm now running a 12" kicker off that those wires but its only 150wrms not sure if a 500-1000w rms sub would really run at all ?

Yeah just like your speakers it will run but not very well and no where near its potential !
