ok hows this for a thought, i have/in progress of removing my gas setup i have in car. As a reuslt i am left with a great big gaping hole in my boot (where all the pipes and wires and s**t were run)
Now my question is, how do u think it would go with running all my cables from the front of the car to the back of the car UNDERNEATH the car where the gas supply pipe was in conduit (like electricains use) and of course keeping power from audio seperate. Then i would seal the hole around the conduits. would do u guys think of this?

umm, not recommended. too much chance of something comming loose/rubbing through. Not too mention how hard it would be to then get the rca cables through into the front of the cabin. When I removed the gas from the fairlane, I was left with the same hole. What I ended up doing was putting fine mesh over the hole, and using flexible pipe to direct the airflow from the hole to the back of the amps, to keep the heat down, as then were enclosed in the install.

I think thats a great idea, air intake for amp cooling - im guessing it was pretty effective too yer?
