Some people use the baby seat holder screw hole and screw a bolt through to the bottom and somehow line the box up with the bolt or use any of the other countless holes under the parcel shelf to secure it to with a bracket, can't be seen if the box is high enough or mounted on the top half of the boot resting on the back of the rear seats.

mine uses the weight of the floor to keep that in place, and the sub box sits on *cough* non slip matting *cough* to stop from sliding around on its platform. sounds dodge, but works an absolute treat

mines held up to the sets with a peace of mdf behind the seats but in front of the actual boot... if that makes sense

I don't have a shot of my boot install, because atm it's about 1/3rd finished and way ugly, but my sub box is held in by the loads of gear i need to carry around for work atm. With my LPG tank, and all the crap i need to carry there's not much room for the sub box to move about!

I do plan on sorting the boot floor out when the car is back from the panel shop, with a flat floor to hide a couple of tools, and will also make a bracket to hold the sub box down to the floor.

Cheers

ToranaGuy

I used a length of velcro along the back fonz, seems to hold damn well, I couldn't actually get it out today, and it still needs covering. :? :|
Photo's didn't really come out but it's shows it's getting there, 2 10" SPL subs, kenwood KAC 7252 amp, and added a rear wiper switch in for an amp switch 8-).

i like the idea of using a rear window wiper switch for the amp, i have considered doing this myself, but havent got around to it. for now i am just using a $1.00 d**k smith switch tucked under the seat rail.

velcro i tried on my old amp install and it didnt do anything, hence why i am now using non slip matting (which btw, is only untill its carpeted). But if it works for you thats awesome.

EDIT: what amp is that you are using? looks kinda like that kenwood 2 channel 500w rms amp.

Yeah kenwood KAC 7252, think it's something along those lines, seem alright and for the price I paid for the lot I'm pretty happy.
yeah, I've been thinking how I can make it nice and custom, but at the same time, look stock still, I want to get a couple more button to try and repaint them, write amp on them or something.

And yeah I could hardly believe how well it's working, I just had to glue gun it on the box, cheapest velcro I could find to .
