were in relation to the amp have you mounted your fan if not built in???
does a pioneer amp have a built in fan???

dave, that amp did you have much clearance between your boot hinges and the top of the amplifier? looks good too mate. hows the LTD v8 goin?

the amp just miss's the hinge thats why i swapped amps over - just for clearances , other wise you could mount the amp on the inside like the factory premo sound setup.
the LTD is just CRuizin along nicely - lovin it .
as for tail lights wellllllll rumor has it there may be a second set made ????????????????????????

Take it this comment was for phong ?

Most amps these days due to power outputs starting to get like the KW chase in cars....will have one or more in built fans or a massive heat sink/fin setup that will allow the amp to run pretty hard with adequete heat disapation.

What gear were u planning on running....and how were u goin to mount it ? ... heat will only be a concern if amps arent adequetly ventilated...such as under false floors with no openings or cooling hardware etc

As to pioneer amps...do u have a model number?

The very cheap baseline models may just have a really good heatsink setup or use external fins for passive cooling...as you go up the lineup you may find fans come into play. Fans don't necessarily mean better cooling...some massive amps run just heatsinks.
