thats a bad thing, cause you want to turn down bass to your front and rear speakers... but with that mod you cant, or you'll filter bass from going to the amp...
it would be better if you could find the point in the ICC before equalization... either that or put high pass filters on all your speakers

getting the signal would be worse , it would be L+R only
afer processing gives u FR,FL,RR,RL + bass treble DSP if your setting it up for amps , u would hi pass your fronts and possibly rears at the amps anyway NOT affecting the signal heading to your sub amp. if doing sub only u would only tap the rear outputs and tune accordily by setting highest volume that the rears can handle on a flat EQ setting. then tune youe sub amp on the same settings the EQ is there to adjust tonal quality .. NOT drive your amp harder same as the Loud setting is to enhance bass/treble al low volume levels not to make your subs louder at higher volumes. its all depends on what your looking for for instance i like rock/ alternatve music so i runn a different X-over point and fall off rate to some who likes dance/techno music ask yourself. do u want to feel every beat of the bass drum , or the bass guitar.

Correct, most amps have inbuilt filters, just use them to highpass the regular speakers, and low pass the sub.
(but IMHO, ditch the ICC altogether)

ah yes, in that case you're right, but i was looking at running my fronts and rears off the ICC... and only a sub amp...
now that i think about it, it would probably make things a lot easier to buy an amp for my fronts and rears too... and use that as a HPF
