The Pioneers were great..... but not as good as the Soundstreams that replaced them

The grill on the trim is misleading... its smaller.
Take this pic of my door for example.... the stock speaker on the top is 6" and the Soundstream one in the pod is also 6" Take your doortrim off and see for yourself.

My 6.5" Pioneers also fit in the parcel shelf where the 6" stockers once resided..... straight fit.

Well that depends how handy you are with wood, fibreglass and car putty. I followed the tutorial available at www.caraudioaustralia.com

Some 6.5" speakers fit straight into the factory 6" hole but most dont. I do know along with brands already said above JL audio VR 6.5" splits do fit but the TR's dont. So if in doubt ask the sales person.

you will probably need an mdf spacer for the front door and to cut at the door trims. All the 6.5's i've tried havent fitted in the front or back....well they appear to fit in the back but are sitting on the basket

Seriously do people google "f**k up modifications for Fords owned by Jews" and get linked straight to this site nowadays? AU,factory fitted tickford kit/IRS, t5,Sports ryder/KYB: gone. |
