Probably.. but this stuff is so much better. It's far more dense and hence absorbs a lot more sound/vibrations.

Has that stuff aslo got an adhevisve side...or does it just would tight to the surface?

Yeah it sticks on. You just cut it to shape.. remove the backing and stick it on.

so could i get a huge sheet and just cover the back side of my boot with it, and that should hopefully minimize the problem
