hey guys
own a ef II fairmont ghia and put a 10 inch rockford fosgate amp in box in the boot 5 months ago when my beloved 8 inch parcel shelfer shat itself and almost made my ears die. Was driving yesterday when all of a sudden the rear speakers cut out and the subwoofer starts thinking its a speaker and doesnt want to emit bass. Angry and confused i get home and lock the car. No deal. Jus get the blinking of the indicators that goes with the central locking and then the horn going off which happens when u leave a door open and try to lock. Well had a look at fuse box and the central locking had blown. But i cant for the life of me figure out where (if there is one) the speakers fuse is located or why they wouldnt be working. Sure i could go down and get a 25c fuse but im a law student and money is f**k scarce when paying a 100 bucks to fill up. im thinking the amp might have died and the central locking admired it so much it perished with it but i love my near factory setup. any ideas as to why it may of happened and solutions would be much appreciated. olli |
