finnally got all my system up and going i got 6s in the front and rear 12 in the boot and 2 amps but i have some 6*9s i wanna put in... just dont know where i want em.... some where , were its not gunna take long to put them in and its gunna be easy any ideas?????
i was thinking in boxes in the boot.......

the bin, 6x9's are crap, especially once you have a sub, they run basically the same freq ranges and tend to cancel each other out, 6x9's are really only good if you dont wanna run a sub IMO.

Agreed, get rid of the 6x9s they're no good for you.
Sell them, bin them, whatever. Don't waste your time installing them. The 6x9 encroaches on 10" sub territory, and the oval speakers don't sound as good as round ones. The ONLY use for them, is profiteering for salesmen at JB/Strathfield etc.

they sound ok to me sound better then the 6s so the boot it is......

IMHO, 6x9's belong on the parcel shelf, with the high frequency pass filter off so it blocks bass sounds, and give a mellow crisp sound to fill the rear of your cabin.

6x9 are good to use in my opinion. I have installed mine on the parcel shelf and I must admit I had to set the frequencies a little higher for the back im thinking because the subs drown out the highs out a bit more. (if you know what I mean) but I would recommend putting them on the back shelf. Or if you want to be a little tricky maybe in the frond door area….. but I have mine in the back and the seem to be ok. I hope this helps abit.
