Sorry but you're all wrong!

Soundstream T4 or T5 subs are definitely best bang for buck. Dual 2ohm voice coil, 900WRMS and a crap load of other awesome specs. They look awesome too lol

You should be able to pick them up for about $300ea brand new.

You really can't go past them for the price.

I'm biased though :D

+1 for Soundstream T5 8-)

I was looking at Type R's before I bought the Soundstream. It was a toss up between the two. It ended up coming down the the fact that the Soundstream is blue and black so matched my boot whereas the Type R is red and silver.........

I ended up getting the T4 as it was on run-out... As far as I know they're essentially the same sub. Just slightly different designs. Identical specs. Just so Southy knows...

wats the power rating on a L7?

as the comp. is 600Wrms
meaning i have 1200Wrms in my boot ran by a 1200Wrms mono-block amp. getting full potential...just need 2 minimise vibration as i have already cracked the boot strangthing support welds.

what do people think of the jaycar 12" subs?

http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.as ... &SUBCATID=

12" Subwoofer CS-2354
• Specifications:
• Diameter: 12"
• Nominal impedance: 4 ohms
• Power handling: 300WRMS
• Efficiency: 86dB SPL @ 1W
• Qts: 0.42
• Fs: 25.8Hz
• Vas: 72.5 litres
• A= 324
• B= 302
• C= 282
• D=187

$199 at jaycar but i can get one for around $140... I dont want anything ridiculous, have been running a 10" infinity sub for years but its a bit tired now...

Southy, just a thought but if your are looking at spending $600, maybe go for 1 high level sub instead of 2 entry to mid level subs. I'm currently running 2 12" Alpine type x subs run by 1000 watt alpine mono each and they are absolutely awesome. With your amp you could easily drive 1 of these subs (1000 rms), would save you some boot room and still crank its head off.

Just another option for you
