AU's (and B series) have 5x7" speakers.

5x7's are a a common size, but not commonly seen (if you get the difference).

6" or 6.5" round speakers can be made to fit with a MDF baffle. (depending on who deep they are).

Well, if you're after some good ones, I looked at the following two.

Hertz HCX-570 and
Boston Acoustics SL-70

I went for the Hertz.

While Alpine make great decks and (the old style V12's) amps. Their speakers are mid range at best.

Look for an amp with about 100WRMS per channel, then spend as much as you can/want to.

To much power is better than not enough.

What size are the front speakers in a eb xr6. They are bigger then my 4" ones. But they don't measure 6" accross. Are the 5.25 or what's goinon there.

EB and EBI had 4" speakers while EBII and later have the 6" speakers.
The speakers you have may not be the original ones and somebody has installed after market speakers hence the different size
