Scrap the rear 6" and spend the money on a good set of front splits allow around $300 for the front, if you really need the rear speakers transfer the oringinal fronts to the rear and use them for rear fill......

A good set of fronts to use for around that price are I think if I recall correctly are DLS 6.5" B6's (??) they go for around $299......

Give us a budget and you'll get some good advice from around here...

its better to get better fronts as it creates a front stage. get a set of front splits with 6" speakers and tweeters and then think of a sub and an amp. you can always go back and change things later on when u get a job ha ha.

No, you'll find quickly that you will need to concentrate on your front stage, they will make or break an audio setup...
I totally disagree with that as will alot of other people....

$800 does that include headunit? If not, DLS front stage as metioned before or Focal 165 A1 components $250-300.
Mono-block amp example Alpine MRP M450 or Pioneer GM7200M, again expect to pay around $250-300.
For a sub expect to part with anywhere from $100-1000+. Thats just an example, but blokes like aaron or kev can steer you ina better direction than I could........

pioneer amps are a little better than boss lol im sure some others will disagree with me but you have to work within your budget. there is a good alpine mono in the for sale section i think that would go hard

In regards to the Head Unit

Big Kev metioned this in anoither thread.....

Quote:
This is why it is important when costing an audio system that the head unit should always be looked at as being the most important(thus dont skimp on it) component..not subs or amps..
