What do you guys reckon are two T112D4 subs runnin off a T20001 amp too big for a SQ set up? Also looking at gettin a set of DLS like pyro's. Just worried about subs over powering everything.

Yeah I currently have P212 subs and they are pretty good. But looking to upgrade. The T1s are an awesome sub.

Again this another one thats factored by budget...of course when u say good SQ setup the more expensive u go the better the end result will be but the more brands/components u cross out...so work out a dollar range youd pay for subs /subs+amp combination and go from there.

Also whether you are going the extent of really decent SQ for everyday or full on heavy competition

nice gear...love the T2's

u sure dude i dont think RF sell a T1500bd...did u mean there bottem end POWER mono unit the T5001bd ?

If you are going that option to get ya money worth youd want 2 of these amps...one per sub.

The T1 12"s are wat bout 600w RMS ... the T5001bd is rated at the below

125 W x 1 @ 4 Ohms
250 W x 1 @ 2 Ohms
500 W x 1 @ 1 Ohm

So if u only go one T5001bd wired in parrallel the 2x T112D4 will operate at the 1 ohm load but that still only 500w RMS ... not that that is bad :P but yeh.... for a lil extra i'd personally go the T10001bd then u will get 1000w @ 1 ohm .... the T112D4 peak rating is 1200w so wuld be better for ya money.

Will be a great sounding setup either way :) good luck

Would certainly do the job. For SQ you dont need a bass set-up anywhere near that large but does not mean it isn't worth considering.

What sort of cost for the items you've listed?

If your going DLS front stage (Very good choice IMO) then why not consider A6 and 2 x IR12"s. They will handle heaps of power and have very good SQ.

PS keep your eyes posted on my SPL thread as 2 x DLS Iridmum 10's may be getting a workout for some SPL numbers to prove they can produce some very nice results.

Lookin at $2500 to $3500 sub and amp package.
The reason I ask is there aint much of a variety up here.

Front stage like yours. I have a friend who can supply them for $1000. Will probably need another amp to run them as well. How ever at the moment i am only worried about subs and an amp.
