Hi guys I disconected my stacker tonight after putting in a new head unit but forgot to take out the CD's (my baaad). Is there anyway I can get the damn things back...without force? :p I cant be F**k wiring it all back up again, im hopeless :roll:

apart frm wrong forum should be in the audio one but yeh...is this a stock ford stacker and if so wat car....if its after market..how do u normally insert cds? just a feed in slot or pop out eject thing like a computer....of a ejectable holder like the factory ford one

I thought about getting a hammer onto it but naaa

This is the alpine version casset type one Big Kev. Its out of a 96 Mont.

there should be away to eject the cassette without dismantiling or reconnecting...wish i hadnt chucked mine now lol....um they dont have any pin holes or anything ya can fita pin in for like an emergency eject ?

three choices

1) let it have your cds
2) dismantle it
3) wire it upto a 12V transformer ?

i'd try my hand at option #3 though... surely it wouldnt be too hard to patch it to the battery to power it up?!?

I'm thinking about finding someone with a premo sound and just sticking my unit in to open it up. other wise im F**k coz i suck bad at electronics.

I'll see how the kicking and stabbing goes and let you all know what happaned ;) ;)

Just find someone with the plug or the same stacker, plug it in and press eject. That's what I did with 96Ghia.
