When I lock my EL XR6 with the keypad all the doors lock as they should but the horn gives off a few toots to tell me that one of the doors isn't shut properly...but all the doors are locked and closed properly, anyone have any idea why this is happening.

Also it seems the interior lights want to stay on...

sounds like the light switch in the door is not working properly

ie the door is shut but the small switch hase come loose or not regestering that the door is shut


try checking the switch in the door frame
if you know what I'm talking about

Mine does the same thing, after i change my cabin loom since ive converted my gli to power windows also change to a high series BEM. But ive checked the switches on the frame as u mentioned they look fine. All my doors are locked and shut. I thought this was like a feature or something on the high series BEM??.
