That would be amazing :D thanks heaps :D

EDIT* Is there any need for a Hi Lo Conv. to maintain signal strength or are you really just tapping into the signal from the pre existing sub?

No need for a converter, check out the pics

extend the wires to go to the amp, just used spade connections to plug into the sub plug.

then RCAs spliced to wires

youll have to strip the RCAs and mate the internal wires together, and the external wires together, making sure you maintain the insulation between them.

the first photo is looking between the carpet and the underside of the parcel tray.

The black plug with the blue wires has been unplugged directly from the sub.

that round thing with the magnet, thats the sub

ooooohhhhh as in the stock premium sound sub?!?!

so u can bridge from the wires attached to that?

hmm seems simpler then i thought. so in terms of EQ. whats the best way to set it all as of course turning down the ICC bass would affect the sub.

exactly! you just run the stock sub wires to your amp....

with the EQ settings on the amp, set it up with the 'loud' button on at the ICC so you dont overpower the sub. Gives you good bass control too, because when your not in the mood for doof doof you just hit the loud button, without having to adjust the bass settings....

The one in the red will be your positive signal from one set of speaker wires, and the unsheathed wires will be your negative.

all the people i know that have 12" subs have to much bass and almost no vocals u just dont know what song is playing and they do have aftermarket speakers and headunits and amps etc

i have the similar setup to my example above and it is just like a home theater can hear the vocals great but plenty of bass to keep u happy and ive beat plenty of people in dB battles with my m8's and i win on the count of highest dB without distortion of course they win every other part but i mainly care about the quality of my audio not how fast i can become deaf ive already made that mistake on my computers audio

but again it is on personal taste most people seem to like the idea of high levels of bass but no actual vocals judging by what he was asking he wanted decent vocals and decent bass so i gave him a rough idea if u believe in 12" subs and tiny speakers thats ur decision but in 10yrs time we will see how has the last laugh as im starting to notice most people with 12" subs tend to be a bit death even though they should have great hearing being a teenager and they did back at school

Keep turning it up, mate. You realise that high frequencies will kill your hearing much quicker than low frequencies don't you?
