ok well as distance from base of the woofer to back of the box is important .... the volume is espescially important for getting the most out of your sub...why cut yaself short :).... u can go smaller box size and fill the box with dakron or other material that slows the movement of air inside the box making the sub believe and almost perform like its in a physically larger enclosure.

Were you gonna be sealing the back of the box? .... just from the pic it looked like you were using the back wall etc as the backing...

oh and b4 i forget...what is the recommened sized enclosure for yours subs...should say in the manual.

cant say I have the box, they r gettin older now

but I will certainly find out when i got to JB this week... and nah havnt even finished sub box's yet, that was just after I put false floor in, I just stood the wood up to show the layout for the boot. The sub box's r gonna b completely enclosed and individual, not joined to rear wall at all

finished one box today, will get wood for other box on tues or wed and do other box then so will b more progress made this week for sure
