it's takes an 8" sub, but you can build a custom box and retain a fair lot of space, mine doesn't extend past the diff hump and the amp is also hangin up out ofthe way, but it does cut out folding down your back seat.
But i have seen people put it in the sides which works well for a lot of people, but i went for an ef for the width.

I have been wanting to put a sub in my ef fairmont parcel shelf for ages. . . not a huge fan of the 8"ones though. What does everyone think of this sub installed underneath the parcel shelf?

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Pioneer-TS-SW301 ... 240%3A1318

Yeah. . I know. . it won't fit, but having access to lathes it'd be very easy to turn up an aluminium spacer to hold it all together and look pretty at the same time. . . . Interested to know what you think?

ORRRRRRRRRRRR

i used to have a 10 inch under the shelf but soon got rid of it for 2 12'' subs mounted behind the seat on a bord sounds heaps better the 1 10'' sub but you lose folding down your seat for extra long things to put in ya boot but its neat and tidy and still have heaps of room for the shoping and stuf

only prob with the sub on the boot is takes up space and looks very good to a theif, if can hide the 8" in the shelf then i dont mind sacrificing some bass. had the 12" in the boot and was good. but am thinkin this might be the go....

Hey sorry to hijack but was after some help. I was looking to put a sub back in the original spot and was looking at this one.

http://www.ryda.com.au/Pioneer-TS-SW841 ... sw841d.htm

Could anyone confirm if it woulf fit and what sort of amp i should get even a link to one? I already have a 4channel jaycar powering my splits in the front and 6" on the parcel shelf.

Cheers guys

just so you all know, not all 8's fit! i had a Venom 8" and it is just too small to fit in the hole properly. so measure the hole spacings before getting a sub if you dont wanna do alot of work, personally i went two small boxed 8's in the boot, have plenty of room for so far, two 17" wheels, a printer two bags of groceries etc. and a laptop, but the bass isnt over the top make your boot rattle and sound like a commodore though.
