im thinking of getting a sub but dnt wana spend 2 much, im thinking around $200 4 the whole set up. dnt want new speakers tho, just sub and amp.

a decent amp alone is gonna cost u 200-300

yeh agreed...sorry ducat but no way your gonna do a sub n amp alone forgetting cabling, fuse block and fuse/fuses etc for $200.

Hey mate, jump on the forums at www.caraudioaustralia.com and look at the for sale section. I picked up a DD2012 for $100 on there and then buy yourself a cheap amp aswell. I got a 2x160w amp from Cookie_monsta on FM for $30 so just look around the forums for cheap 2nd hand stuff and you can do it easily.

My $300 DD2012 + Jaycar 4x100 system sounded like it was worth alot more then $300 and I still had 2 amp channels to run some speakers.
