Hey guys, ive got a twin 10 inch sealed sub box and the and the enclosed volume is 1.62 cubic feet. Now is that 1.62 cubic feet for the whole box? or just each section of the box?
The subbies im looking at says the minimum requirements is 1 cubic feet and the max is 4.6 cubic feet. Im just a little confused lol when i go buy my subbies i want them to be pretty close to the requirements in not exact. Any help appreciated |

Well the best way to do this is to measure the interior dimensions of the box then multiply them to give you the area. (length x width x height. In centimetres)
Then divide that number by 28317 (aprox how many cubic cm's in a cubic foot). If the answer you get is around 0.81, then 1.62 is the volume of the box. If the answer you get is around 1.62, then that is half the volume of the box. This should work unless my calcs are wrong. |

Well with some rough measurements (without taking the sub out and just measuring the outside taking into consideration the wood thickness) i used you method and came out with 1.38 so i guess its 1.62 cubic feet each section. That helps me out heaps
Thanks for your help Cheers Lowlane98 |
