All depends on your needs, the sound you are going for and ultimately the budget you have all which will contribute into how you go about it, yeah but as said need more info first

if you are only running a stock system you probably dont want anything over the top, cuz then you will get bass and nothing else, itll drown out all your other sound.

id go with a simple 10" and amp combo, and then use the rear line level inputs to the amp.

thats probably your best direction of attack.

What you want is a 12" in a box that will fit right behind the seats. Amp you can mount to the back of the seats or the box and that way you'll have decent quality bass and there is plenty of boot space.

From memory, the stoc system doesnt have a remote wire, so it would most likely be best for you to use the acccessorys wire for your trigger, and if you think theres going to be a time when you want it off, you could throw a switch in the line as well.

Go To supercheap, Get a 10" sony xplod, and a budget 300watt amp. Will cost u like 150 bucks and take up hardly no boot space.

You can pick up a Avalanche amp for around $100 and under. You can get a U.S Audio sub, which is a pretty good sub in a box from Auto Barn for around $189. And it does put the new sony subs to shame!
