hey guys iv got a 04 ba xr6 wich i want to put subs in iv talked to some people n they said i can eather buy a interface ( wich will cost around 180 ) so i can hook my rcas up to my stock head unit or i can put a after market head unit in have any of you guys done this ? .. how dose the interface on the stock head unit sound ? or am i just better off putting a after market head unit in ? your help will be muchly appreciated thenks guys

an aftermarket head unit will give you the best sound quality,and prob the easiest way aswell

yeah, i put an aftermarket one in mine, there is a short rundown on installing the headunit and subs in my build thread if you want to have a look.
sounds great even with standard speakers

is there a huge diffrence in sound between the stock n after market im just not keen on having the stock screen sitting there not doing anything
