i was told the other day to turn my woofers around from facing the rear seats in my wagon, to facing the tailgate. i was told that having the woofers facing the way i had them was wrong...
Is this true?? i spun them around, and it seemed to make a difference. Does it make a difference, or is it all in my head?? what is the 'correct' way?? Thanks David

what was the difference it was making.. i have my sub just siting in the corner were the right hand tailight is facing toward the centre .. i rekon it gives of much better bass

he means if you face them to the rear your going to get more output/vibration vs if u face them into the cabin ull hear it more clearly but not feel it soo much....facing into the boot helps to creater another box for the bass

In an older car (and sometimes new) you may notice it makes your boot rattle heaps from all the pressure it's creating.
You won't notice from inside, but from outside.... Let's just say I tend to laugh at the try hards who drive around with their boots and number plates rattling. Often it's the only thing you can hear as they drive past. rattle rattle....rattle rattle....rattle rattle....

every car is different experiment with the position and see what you like, with the fairmont i had the sub towards the back seat with about 5-10 cm clearance i like the sound of this position sounded much clearer and punchy compired to facing the boot.

i have a 12inch face to the boot and i have 2 10inch at the tail lights face to seats, sounds great but do u guys think it could be better?
12" in a sw7200 eclipse and the 10"s are alpine r's.
