ok wiring wise i have the head unit off the factory wires, on the monoblock i have 4 guage and the 4 ch has the 8 guage wiring. im going to try and ground the head unit somewhere else see how it goes, at this stage im getting over it and about to throw my amp and head unit at the wall and start from scratch again

for some stangre reason my splits(tweeter) were causing a interfrence i fixed up the speaker wire and it fixed the problem never heard of that being a problem before but it happened to me

What do you mean by fixed up, was it shorted to ground?

i replace the speaker wire it wasnt shorting but when it was frist installed there wasnt a long enough piece so two got joined together and for some reason i dont think it like the join. not sure exactly why.

That makes no sense at all for the speaker wire to cause interference unless it is shorting to ground....

Thats what i thought but it fixed it the wires at the join were soilded heat shirnked nd then taped, they werent shorting to ground but i just thought i'd tll people about it

ok i have done some fiddling around, now i removed the noise suppressor and the feedback got worse, i also fiddled around with different ground pints for the 4 ch, and no luck. then i fiddled with the head unit, unplugged the antenna it got worse, i played with ground got better and worse, so now im pinning it down to the HU, i dont know what could be going wrong with it though. Best part is i just ran out of warrantyon the HU. so any advice??????

Find a really good ground, you have proved that it is the head unit ground by disconnecting the aerial and it got worse which means that it is trying to ground through the aerial's ground.
Be sure that the ground is absolute and you will have no more problems, don't just assume that the metal in the dash is absolute ground, go to the body is always the best bet....

Hey, I am New to forums, so I don’t now the dedicates involved.
So be patient Firstly get rid of the noise suppressor, they kill the sound and you lose all your high end. OK the easies thing to try is a new set of RCAs, You can run them on the outside of the car to test them, I have seen it many times be a doggy set. Then there is an old trick, you solder a small fly lead off the RCA on the amp (the outer negative) and earth that to the body of the amp. This was a common fix we did at SCR when I worked there (8years). PS You can try pressing the wire to the RCA outer and see if it make any difference before you solder it. Ok i fixed it!!!!!!!!! it was a the dodgey 4ch amp so i fixed it as anyone else would, it got thrown as hard as possible at the brick wall.lol so thanks for all the help guys.
