Not answering your question but I got one of the 7" 2 din ones a few weeks ago for the wife and I can't get the ignition noise out of the speakers, it is entering via the arial. Apart from that I am very impressed with the unit.

its definatly got video line outs, but i doubt this H/U would split images and sound to function both DVD and Phone at the same time. looks more like its set up to run a couple of LCD's that you mount elsewhere in the car. it behind the seats for the Kiddies.
If your phone is connected then a call would override/Pause the other currently playing item.

Know what I mean?

I have a Jaycar noise filter on the supply lines but it is entering via the arial connector. I unplug it and the noise goes away.

Yes, I am not after a solution just letting the guy know that they are OK for the price but you do get what you pay for.

I've had a el cheepo DVD player from ebay and a couple of screens, they've been alright.

But as said above you get what you pay for. Little things do go wrong with them - such as bits of plastic fall off, and I also had noise through the speakers.

In the end I after spending 3 times as much on a decent Pioneer unit I'm far happier and still think it's a better purchase.

Don't buy from Hong Kong, there is a guy in Woolongong that sells Eonon DVD ETC units. I bought a Doble din Touch screen from him and I can't be happier, his Store namre on EBay is URBAN BUNGALOW and is mobile is 0432187718. Give him a ring he was very helpful with me.
