Hey all
Ive been thinking latley, what would be involved in installing a TV tuner into my car? Ive got a Kenwood DDX512 ,http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/Mobile_Video_n_Navigation/Mobile_Video/DDX512. Is ther any kinda of *small* tuner that'd easily be stashed behind my dash somewhere and hooked up via the A/V in? Ive spoken to a few guys at DSE and tandy, and they just stare blankly. Cheers! -Phil |

my brother has one on his alpine h/u, although i think it is controlled through the h/u itself. it sits under the passenger seat and runs as an aux input. we will be pulling it out soon (he is looking at selling the car), so i will investigate it then and see if it will hook up to any screen.

cheers nicco.
although im not too wise in this department, id think that youd have the tuner itself (some kinda of little black box), an aerial (SP?), a power wire, and an output. Playstations and that have a sound output and a video outpt, so mabye a tuner like this? eh im just confusing myself now |
