Hi,
Ive changed my EF Gli to High series dash loom and i saw that they have to tweeters at the top of the dash. My question is would i need to have some kind of a crossovers?? like them small amps or somethings... it like a high/low pass filter or something.. i think. Do i need one?? i dont wanna be blowing it up when i turn the volume high.

You get the cross overs with the speaker kit!, most come with them
Check out mobileelectronics.com.au and you will find everything you need |

Your not going to blow the tweeters with the factory HU reagrdless of whats done with the loom...are you planning on changing the factory head unit?

The factory tweeters have a capacitor built in, so in theory, theres no low frequency passing through them.
Simply installing them and pluging them upto a aftermarket head unit is not going to hurt. even so, for $12 they're easily replacable.
