is that the one with detachable face?

thats what i have...
very good
easy to use
and has police scanner aswell

and antenna wise, if its just for your falcon,
get either a small one from d**k smith...

or i think some one on here had a flat one you can put on parcel shelf or stick on your rear window or something

no i dont think this one has a detachable face i think its the next modell up cost $100 more. i'm headin to sunny coast next week so i'll have to drop into maroochydoor d**k smith and check em out. or any good places to buy one around budriem regon?
i'll just get a antena and stick it on the back, i'd rather get a larger antena around 75cm long for better coverage.

we've the same one in dads hilux - slots in below the radio into the din surround, with the back cut off it - all up for the unit, and an antenna to mount on the bullbar, cost ~$200 mark, and 45mins to install :)

ive got the same model, remote face and scanner. Its a very good all round system. And its not so much a detatchable face as it is remote, You can have the face anywhere in the car and have the actual unit seperate. Looks really good when done properly.
Id recomend a 6db aerial, ive got a 6/9 db stainless aerial and i find the 6 is best for say convoys or cruises

Check out the uniden website
