I know they are still using analog here in Victoria as I listen to them. Also, if the Police were going to smack you for personal gain whenever they pulled you over then they would have certainly been smacking the Media companies for listening in on emergency service frequencies long long ago.

The Vic Police have rolled our the first stage of digital upgrades already
All police cars at present have an MDT in there vehicle which jobs are sent through the MDN to cars however they still use analog at present for voice commnication
