Very descriptive post......
Ho do you know it is the correct code? Have you owned the vehicle from new and can guarantee that the head unit has not been changed? What sort of car is it? You need more info than what you have posted....

ring up fraud and check the code u have. they will need your VIN number

No i have nt had the car since new but i have unlocked the stero before with the same code. According to ford it is a fault with them.It s a 1999 fairlane and only a couple of models including the ba have the fault which causes them to totally lock up. the only remedy is to replace the head unit $450 thanks for coming

Its not that much for an aftermarket unit you know, even double din units are cheaper than 450bux.
