hey....i have an el falcon and im trying to remove my radio/casette, and i have taken off the plastic piece that goes around the radio, but i am faced with these two screws that have a funny head on them
instead of the normal phillips head it has like a 6spoked star with a circle in the middle that sticks back out. Is there a special tool i need to get these out and is that how i remove the radio/casette

yes there is - you can buy a cheapy tool from super cheap to get it done - or drill em out!

called a torx security screw i belive? i forget the size, about T-10 isnt it?

The ones in mine are T20 however I'm not sure itf they are the factory screws
Yes they are called Security Torx Bits as opposed to a standard torx bit which doesn't have the hole for the centre piece

The other special tool you can use is a pair of vicegrips.

get a thin hacksaw blade and slice a thing line down the middle and you can use a screw driver
