Mine are just tied up above the drivers side footwell. Some people put them in the doors but that's not a good idea IMO as they can get wet and stuff up.

Is that sitting in between the head unti and the air vents? behind the panel?? Also, I have one front split in, with new headunit and can hear that new speaker over everything else.....kinda says alot for the other speakers....

Screww them to the door itself so when you put the door trim back on it sits in where the door trim bulges out for door handle
That make sense?

When you buy a decent pair of front splits for your audio system they will come with there own designated crossover system which directs certain frequencies to the right speaker Some cheaper front splits just use a cap as a crossover on the terminal of the 6 inch speaker to stop the lower frequencies getting to your tweeter and blowing it sky high Both crossover systems work but the dedicated crossover system is by far superior to that of running just a capacitor and will give you far superior sound and performance rating (watts) For an in depth read of what exactly a crossover does have look here http://www.linkwitzlab.com/crossovers.htm

Mine are inside the door, facing inwards, just below where the speaker would be. It's out of sight, and it is easy to get to.
The only thing I had to make sure is that it is clear of the door pocket, and it is clear of the window. I will try and post pics for you

Keep them out of the door itself!!!!!
Water can leak down into the door when it rains and if crossover system gets wet it can cause corrosion and dry joints and ultimately your crossovers will fail Always locate crossovers in a dry environment to prevent any unneccassary mishaps
