hi

I am installing an alarm in my EB fairmont and i cant figure out how to tap into the central locking. I have figured out that the yellow/red and yellow/black wires operate the locks. The problem i have is how do i connect these into the central locking module of my alarm. (The alarm instructions are terrible)

Does the alarm have a switched output (built in relays about 6-8 wires?) or is it only a pulse output (2 wires)

The falcon actulay has reversing polarity locking you need to touch the wires together to get it to work. You will need a few relays and some diodes to d oit this way, or you have to do it at the bcm and thats not prety.

The alarm has 6 wires for central locking. The instructions give 4 different wiring diagrams for the central locking, but don't provide info on when which wiring is applicable. tomorrow i'll try changing the wiring to one of the other options.

My NA has the same locking system as the EB, and my alarm that I installed myself had the six wires too. You need to use the "negative pulse" option of it. I am not sure if it is the same but I will explain as per my wiring diagram:

NC - Orange wire - not used
COM - White wire - negative pulse lock
NO - Yellow - ground
NC - orange/black - not used
COM - white/black - negative pulse unlock
NO - yellow/black - ground

Just double checked as to the way I wired it up and it matches this diagram, hope this helps.
