is the current battery still engine bay mounted or is it now boot mounted...? as far as the amps where are they mounted...boot...under seats etc....just need a little more info.

If they are mounted in the car then the seat belt mounting points are good spots just file the area down abit....but yeah lil more info will make it much easier to comment.

wow, a 5000watt amplifier - i'm impressed.
i earthed my stuff on the seat belt anchor bolt for the rear seat passengers.
pretty easy to get to but hidden.

it was of projay (is taht correct?)
its an earth quake phd5000w and will produce 5000wrms at 1 ohm but i will for comps run it at .25 ohms and at 17v prolly coloser to 6000wrms then if not more than that.

It going to a DD9915 with dual .5 coils
Amps = power divide volts

5000/14v = 358A but class d digigital has 80% efficiency (as ageneral rule)so divide that by .8 = 448A

but my amp has higher efficency than normal so i woked it from an different % can't remmember but one of teh guys in teh us quoted me that.

you realise, of course, that a VERY specialised alternator will be needed if you want to run that for anything longer than a burst at max power.
